The South and Southwest Asian and North African (SSWANA) Center is a welcoming space for students and student unions to gather, learn, and support one another. This center provides room for small meetings, opportunities to engage with faculty, and a place to strengthen community connections while learning more about the SSWANA region.
About the SSWANA Center
The SSWANA Center is a community and educational space for SSWANA students and affiliated student unions to gather and share resources with one another. The SSWANA Center opened during the 2025–2026 academic year.
Under the direction of the program director, this center provides a meeting and connection space for students and opportunities to connect with faculty. The SSWANA Center is a separate center but does work in tandem with the Multicultural Center (MCC).
