Submit your request at least seven business days in advance via the submission form below. All requests must be submitted via the form.

Please Note: All requests are subject to space and staff availability. We do no accept requests for times when the university is closed for holidays and breaks.

Our Mission, Our Legacy

The Lyllye Reynolds-Parker Black Cultural Center (BCC) empowers Black students at the University of Oregon by serving as a catalyst for academic achievement and personal growth. As a welcoming and affirming space, the BCC connects students with vital resources to navigate their academic, cultural, and social journeys. Through its commitment to Black student success, the BCC enriches the cultural fabric and collective development of the entire university community.


Black Cultural Center Scholarships

Award allocations are based on academic classification, but range from $2,500–$7,000; available for incoming first-year students through graduate and law students.

This year's award cycle has closed. The application for AY26-27 will open in late summer 2026.
